A Loose Tooth

From the 6th of June to the 10th of June, Room for Doubt presented the open studio of Saman Khosravi with the title “A Loose Tooth.”

About Artist:

Saman Khosravi was born in Sanandaj in 1987 and graduated with a BA degree in graphic design from Jahad Daneshgahi University in Bandar Anzali. He received his MA in Graphic Design from the Art & Architecture Faculty of the Azad University of Central Tehran. His thesis focused on Iranian Video Art. In addition to graphic design, Khosravi works with a wide range of media in his practice, from photography to drawing and animation to video.

Saman Khosravi’s works have been exhibited in art galleries and public spaces in different cities: Sanandaj, Tehran, Kerman, Athens, Vienna, Munich, Ghent, Toronto, and Los Angeles. In 2017, Saman Khosravi was shortlisted for the Magic of Persia Contemporary Art Prize. He was also one of the selected artists of the 8th Tehran National Sculpture Biennial who withdrew from the event.

“Room for Doubt” is a temporary, mobile, artist-run initiative that has taken up residence in the former location of New Media Projects to pass its transient phase.
