Minou Iranpour was of the guest curators of Limited Access 8. Being born and living in Isfahan, she put together a special program for this edition, including sound/video pieces created by 25 artists from Isfahan.
“Multiple Accesses” was screened in New Media Projects and Aaran Projects in Limited Access in Tehran, and now it is going to be screened in Emrooz Gallery in Isfahan in 28 to 30 Sep 2019.
Besides focusing on less seen, forgotten or even neglected works, Iranpour has done her best to bring voices from different generations with various concerns. In Multiple Access, we witness videos with social themes, ones which take on urban and environmental approaches parallel to more personal examples dealing with individual, psychological or even abstract subjects.
The aim of curating the program and juxtaposing the diverse collection of works both from formal and thematic aspects is to present a survey on possible impacts of the living and creating in certain geography on artists’ practice who shared a locality through the span of three decades.
