The new series of New Media Society workshops named “Night School” is the fourth educational plan held yearly except for the summer when the Covid-19 pandemic afflicted our lives. This time, to make it possible for a wider range of interested people to participate, we changed the time of the workshops to after office hours. To host participants not based in Tehran, we designed the workshops as hybrid meetings where people can choose between in-person and online presence.
New Media School’s programs have focused on developing an alternative space for a deep, inclusive, and critical understanding of artistic, literary, cultural/social, and interdisciplinary practices.
