L’ISM:  A Research on the moment in space.

L’ISM :  A Research on the moment in space.

By artist Ibrahim Quraishi with sound designer Eunice Martins

A research study on body L’ISM’s and different movement languages connected to ideologies and diverse technologies.

The presences and construction of different choreographies in through spatial and bodies ideologies form across times, across disciplines, and across cultures.

Motion capture and interactive sound influences how bodies react and how bodies compose and decompose physical and psychological context within their actual movement.

Here, Ibrahim & Eunice intend to research the context of how time and space contract an abstract physical, choreographic language within a given moment that can be elongated in the Stockhausen principles of sonic environments into the extension of physical bodies.

The presence and construction of different choreographies in through spatial and bodies ideologies form across times and across disciplines are imbedded within the research of L’ISM.

The research study and presentation will be March 13 – 18 2018
